Danielle Michaels MD MEng CCFP
Min Max Your Life
Danielle. Michaels received her undergraduate engineering degree from Harvey Mudd College. She went on to graduate school at UC Berkeley, earning a Master’s degree in Engineering. She was a co-founder of a software consulting company which turned a profit for the next ten years, enabling her and her partner to raise a young family on their own terms. At the age of 30, with three young children, she turned her attention back to an old dream – becoming a physician. She specialized in family medicine and joined a small group practice in 2015. In 2019, she added more competence and quality assurance based work to her portfolio, joining the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta as a practice visitor and Competence Committee member. In 2021, she joined a coaching program for female physicians and became inspired to share her message with a wider community than her patient panel.
